This platform exists to preserve family memory, not to expose private information. While the family tree itself is public — names, branches, lineage edges, year of birth and death for deceased members — sensitive details are gated.
What's public
- Names (English and Malayalam), branch, and lineage relationships.
- Year of birth and death for deceased members.
- Approved photos, stories, and historical records.
What's gated
- Address, phone, email — only visible to authenticated family members.
- Full date of birth for living members.
- Blood group and other private fields — gated to family.
Right to be removed
Any living family member (or their guardian) may request their record be marked private or scrubbed. Lineage edges remain so the tree's structure is preserved, but identifying information is removed in compliance with India's DPDPA 2023 and equivalent regulations.
